Iliana Mendoza is a visual artist in the Chicagoland area. Inspired by her Mexican heritage, Iliana's artwork cries in vibrant colors & incorporates her cultura through various symbols & motifs. She also draws inspiration from nature, her femininity, her travels, her community, & fellow artists. She focuses on organically creating art that is authentic to her. She loves to experiment with different styles of art, mediums & perspective in many of her pieces. She is also a paint n sip and puff n paint instructor. Iliana is a co-founder of CoCreate. CoCreate is an organization that curates events based on music, art, culture, & community. Our mission is to build a creative community full of support for fellow creatives & artists. We aim to highlight brown and black artists and provide a safe space for all.
